About Us

Briquettes For Future is a circular economy initiative that tackles environmental degradation, energy poverty, and waste management by producing eco-friendly briquettes from recycled organic and agricultural waste. It offers a cleaner, sustainable alternative to charcoal and firewood—helping reduce deforestation, indoor air pollution, and climate change. By turning waste into valuable energy resources, the project promotes environmental conservation, creates jobs, supports community development, and ensures inclusive opportunities for youth, women, and marginalized groups.

Core Activities

Briquette Production

Production of high-quality briquettes using recycled materials such as Charcoal dust, Sawdust, Agricultural residues and Paper waste. These briquettes produce less smoke, burn longer, and are more cost-effective compared to traditional charcoal

Waste Collection and Processing

The project collects waste materials from Carpentry
workshops, Agricultural farms, Markets, Local communities. This helps reduce environmental pollution while providing raw materials for production.

Community Training

Training programs are conducted to equip community
members with skills in Briquette production Sustainable waste
management, Small business development

Economic & Social Impact

Creating employment opportunities for youth and women

Reducing environmental pollution
